After one of the most thrilling and successful shows to ever hit our screens aired its last episode last autumn, fans of the show thought there was a surprise return for the Vincent Gilligan creation. Aaron Paul talked recently about his fondness of the show and how he has missed playing Jesse Pinkman. However, he cured his Breaking Bad fix with co-star, Bryan Cranston, in a unique and humorous comedic short for German car manufacturers, Audi.

In the advert called ‘Barely Legal Pawn’, Cranston and Paul once again play colleagues but this time they are working together in a pawn shop instead of cooking blue meth like they do in the show. The sketch also stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus that adds up to three Emmy winners in the ad. The plot revolves around her attempting to pawn off her 1996 Emmy to aid her in paying for a private island she’s bought because of her jealousy of singer Celine Dion.

The video was produced by PMK-BNC and written and directed by Paulilu. Speaking about this quirky ad, Joseph Assad, executive producer at PMK-BNC said: “We knew we had a great concept, a winning team and a client, Audi, who understood the value of this type of content. We flew in face of convention by putting out a video at six minutes, but with the high-caliber acting and the quality of the idea, we knew we could push some boundaries.”

The sketch is a mere imitation of the American reality show, ‘Pawn Stars’ but with the Breaking Bad references particularly at the end of the piece, fans of the show will find it very amusing indeed and perhaps get a little sentimental over.

Here is the video below.
